For the certified divers, the morphology of the area is ideal for a range of interesting divings, 365 days the year, no matter the local weather conditions. The geographical position and the permanent strong local currents all contribute to the preservation of highly impressive and rich underwater life and biodiversity.

We have vast experience with regards to diving tourism and the 25 different diving points in our area. The new law for diving that includes Greece, now allows divings the opportunity to dive anywhere. With some spectacular shipwreaks at a depth of 17 meters, and a variety of underwater sites, North Evia is the place that you must visit for your diving holidays and excursions in Greece.

The sea in North Evian Gulf has comfortable temperatures all the year round and has interesting underwater sea beds ( ship wrecks, corals, sponges, reefs and rich life ). This region of North Evia is also home to the magnificent volcanic islands of Lihadonisia.

Another unique aspect to diving here is the phenomenon of the Euripus canal, which connects the North and South Evian Gulf. At fixed times ( 6 hour on average ) the sea currents change route and accordingly the sea level of the Gulfs either rises or descreases.

The general area of North Evia ( including our town of Edipsos ), has magnificent beaches with a beautiful environment and crystal clear waters, ideal for swim and relaxing. At the west of the peninsula are the famous Lihadonisia, a group of small volcanic islets with rich vegetation. The islets were inhabited upto 1967 and have rich fauna and life both above and under the sea.

The largest of the islets is Monolia, owes its name to the fact that on its surface exist only olive trees. This islet as well as the rest of them is the natural environment that we organize many of our diving excursions and trips.

Our diving center is situated on the coastal road of Edipsos and is just 150 meters from the port. We have all the specifications for a complete education in diving and are certified from the international organisations PADI, ANDI and IANTD.

The diving training that takes place in our diving center, is in compliance with the training standards of the international associations and the diploma that the trainees receive after the end of course and their successful exams, are accepted and recognised all over the world.

Amateurs have the chance to experience their first contact with the self dive, by joining us on a trained dive, in complete safe and secure conditions. As well amateur divers will have the chance to receive an internationally accepted self diver diploma ( Open Water Diver ), by attending the training program of our complete course.

Our training equipment includes Projectors, DVDs, human body simulator for CPR training and the complete diving equipment and the relative literature.

Every year our diving center, in accordance with the new Greek legislation of February 2006, is fully checked, regarding the condition and operation of all of our equipment, air compressor and filtered air that fills the bottles, the way that we organize each diving excursion, and receives certification by the BUREAU VERITAS. Our diving center is insured at DAN ( Divers Alert Network ).
The boat on which we train our students was manufactured in the ship yard of REGENT HELLAS, with strengthened polyester as the main material. The length of the boat is 9 meters, and it has a see-through glass bottom. The boat can hold upto 20 people or 15 divers with their full equipment.

The engine is Mercuiser Turbo Diesel 4,2 L 300hp with Mercuiser Bravo 2 for our diving excursions, reaching a speed of between 25 – 30 miles. The boat is equipped with radio VHF GMDSS, GPR and depth meter EPIRB, and life rafts that hold 22 people with full diving equipment and supply equipment of medical oxygen.

The certified divers that wish to dive independently can rent from us their equipment or fill their bottles, as long as they show their certified card, by an association recognized by the naval ministry, according the 3409/2005 law ( PADI ANDI IANTD CMAS NAUI ).

We like diving to be fun and enjoyable, whilst at the same time, always carried out with safety and security, and that is why, the divers that will join us, must have their valid certified card, and also to be insured for diving by international insurance organizations.
