Edipsos is 117 km from the city of Halkida, the capital of the island, and is approximately 151km from Athens, via Arkitsa. Edipsos can also be reached by by boat from the port of Glyfa in Fthiotida. Edipsos is one of the oldest and most organised spa destinations in Greece. It is visited by huge numbers of people from all over the world, who come here for the unique healing properties of the natural spa waters. It is just 2 ½ hours away via ferry boat connection to Edipsos from the national motorway. The airport of Volos ( VOL ), is just 1 ½ hours away, including the time of the ferry boat connection to Edipsos via the national motorway. Arriving at Edipsos from Athens via Chalkida When you arrive at Chalkida follow the signs to the road towards North Evia - Limni - Edipsos. When you reach the town of Edipsos, follow the coastal road and 100 meters after you pass the port, you will find the diving center on your right. Arriving at Edipsos via National Motorway and Arkitsa port When on the motorway at the 151st km take the exit that leads to Arkitsa, where you will take the ferry boat to Edipsos. Arriving at Edipsos from Thesaloniki via Glyfa port If you are coming from the northern region of Greece, you take the exit that leads to Glyfa where you will take the ferry boat to Agiokampo ( 25 minute journey ). At the exit of Agiokaampos, turn right on the main road and after 7 km you are at Edipsos. Arriving at Edipsos from Patra ( Rio – Antirio Bridge) National Motorway Bralos After passing the bridge Rio – Antirio, you follow the signs towards Galaxidi – Amfissa – Lamia. When you reach the National motorway of Athens – Thessalonica, you turn right towards Athens. 10 km after Agios Konstantinos take the exit towards Arkitsa, where you will take the ferry boat to Edipsos.
